Don't Be Afraid of the Unknown, Get Peace of Mind with McClain Home Inspections
I have passed all of the required courses, classes, and exams necessary to become a certified, licensed Home Inspector in the state of Arkansas, just like every other licensed Home Inspector. Most Home Inspectors are familiar with the regulations and standards, and some even have years of experience inspecting houses according to the standards they are given. The experience I have goes beyond that. With an extensive and broad level of general construction, and home renovation experience, I am more than qualified to offer you peace of mind through a home inspection.

Don McClain has 17 years of construction experience, as well as the standard certifications and training.

About Don McClain from McClain Home Inspections
"I spent 17 years in general construction (from 1978-1994 w/ Goldman Construction Co., Pine Bluff AR. Mike Goldman). I started when I was fourteen, and spent almost all of my teenage years digging ditches, toting lumber, fetching tools, cleaning job sites, and best of all, learning the trade. I was a full-fledged carpenter by the time I was twenty, and job foreman by the ripe old age of twenty-three. By the time I was twenty-eight, I was drawing house plans, bidding on large jobs, and overseeing all our crews.
I have overseen the building of banks, gas stations, restaurants, office complexes, pharmacies, apartments, duplexes, and countless residential homes. We also did a lot of renovation work, both commercial and residential. During my time in the construction industry, I worked closely with architects, engineers, and code enforcement agencies, (so I do know what it is like being on the receiving end of an inspection). I know the difference between serious problems and cosmetic issues, and if your potential home has serious defects you need to know about before you close, I am as qualified as anyone, (and more qualified than most), to detect them.
I have been a full-time preacher since 1994 (Pine Bluff area for 5.5 years and in Little Rock since 2000) while doing a little carpentry and handyman work on the side. As a preacher, I have served with people from all walks of life, and have developed the ability to effectively communicate and build relationships. A large part of my experience in both construction and preaching has been identifying and solving problems. All of which, I believe, uniquely qualifies me to be a home inspector you can trust.
I pledge to look out for your best interest, safety, and satisfaction and to be neutral and factual in regard to any issues a property may present. I want to help give back to our community and help people like you find a safe and reliable place to live. My prices are competitive, in fact I will match or beat any quote you may receive, and I do offer veteran and first responder discounts. I use modern technology for my reports and usually have them ready for you when the inspection is completed.
